Will the backlash on feminism affect women in general where only feminists should only be affected?

after all, it's only feminists who have pushed laws against men. would all women suffer the consequences of the actions of feminists?

1. feminism failed women greatly. the only consequence the majority of women will face from the abolishment of feminism is they will get their rights back to be what they really are - a woman. Nothing bad in being a woman, nothing at all, but feminists make sure that women who want to act like women are shamed because they encourage women to act like men.
2. I think they already have in some ways. A lot of men refuse to get married because of the way divorce and child custody laws are now. It is also true that all women benefit from the laws that feminists have succeeded in passing.

Feminism has seeped into the minds of ALL women - whether they are aware of it or not. In fact, I have had women swear up and down that they are not feminists and they were some of the WORST examples. Its a real tragedy. And I thank my personal god daily that I never learned this the hard way.
4. The backlash of feminism is already efffecting women in general. It can be seen in the higher rates of depression, the high rates of reported unhappiness among women, the rise in rates of violence committed by females and the high divorce rates. While feminism is not the sole cause of these things, it does play a large role in them.
5. No, a lot of the people who identify themselves as anti feminists are pro-rights and pro-freedom. Women in general will be okay if the anti-feminist alliance is broad enough.

Feminism has been taken over by uneducated, low-life, man-hating gender narcissists who do not have the vision to see what the effects that their actions could have on the society -- short-term goals seem to dominate their agenda without much research/fore-casting.
9. Men value and need normal women, and can tell the difference between a good woman and a feminist pretty quickly. I think the backlash should extend to all feminists who have campaigned for laws that discriminate against men. This would include feminists who have campaigned to close women's prisons and reopen them as men's prisons. These women should be fired and charged under whatever discrimination laws exist. As for the gullible fools who just thought this sounded like a great idea but didn't actively promote it, I would say just let be their punishment be their realisation that they got 'equality' so horribly wrong. For those good women who saw through the facade pretty quickly - there should be a massive party to celebrate them!
10. Only the closet feminist who pretend to be normal will be affected. The ones who denounce the prejudice against men will be embraced.
11. I hope not. Men have been guilty in the past of underestimating women and perhaps being too protective, controlling and patronizing in some cases. But never in recorded human history have men collectively hated women as a group. I personally believe that most men are incapable it. Any anger is and should be directed only against the true culprits: Unfair laws and those who support them, male or female.
12. The backlash on feminism is negligible; the vast majority of westerners accept that women ARE equally human, and thus DO deserve full rights and equal opportunities. What laws against men? It's NOT only feminists who benefit from feminism. Every woman who owns property, has credit, has a higher education from a top-notch school, or has a fulfilling career that isn't teaching, nursing, or office-work has benefitted from feminism. Those who hate gender equality DO punish and hate ALL women; they are called misogynists.

Real feminism...not the man-hating ones...created countless opportunities for women. so ignore the ones that are man-hating and appreciate the ones from back in the day who got women the right to vote and the right to own property, and go to school and so much more. In response to the answerer who listed all the shows that made men look like dumbasses..how about the shows that make women look like all the can do is be a house-wife..all the commericals..etc. American women aren't insane feminists. I think most American women don't hate men with a passion, they just want equal rights for everyone--not just women.
